Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
ThinkGenieAI ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address, display name, and authentication provider.
- Content you create: notes, drawings, uploaded PDFs, audio recordings and their transcripts.
- Usage data: basic logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) needed to operate the service.
- Newsletter: only your email address, and only if you subscribe.
- Contact form: the name, email, subject and message you submit.
How we use it
- Provide and secure the service (sign in, sync, storage).
- Deliver AI features you invoke (summaries, chat, generation, transcription).
- Respond to support requests and product feedback.
- Send transactional messages and, if you opt in, occasional product updates.
AI processing
When you use AI features, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Providers process the content solely to return a result and do not use your data to train their models.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the vendors we need to run the service (hosting, database, authentication, AI providers, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations.
Data retention
We keep your content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual notes at any time, or delete your account by contacting us — this permanently removes your notes, uploads and profile.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based access control and per-user database policies.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Email us to exercise these rights.
Children
ThinkGenieAI is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post updates to this page and, for material changes, notify you by email.
